Using it on the route
Most provinces and states require an application record with the product, its registration number, the amount and where it went. Check your local rules for exactly what you must keep and for how long. Fill it in at the property, not back at the office, so the amounts are the ones actually used.
Questions
- What should a pest control service record include?
- The target pest, the areas treated, the product and its registration number (PCP in Canada, EPA Reg. No. in the U.S.), the amount applied, the method, the applicator's licence number, the activity found and the safety instructions given.
- Is this enough for regulatory record-keeping?
- It covers the usual fields, but the rules differ by province and state. Check what your regulator requires before relying on it.
- Can I change the checklist?
- Print it as is, or copy the items into your own form. In Routova you can edit the same checklist, and changes only apply to new visits: completed visits keep the version they were filled in on.
